I thought of calling this "This! Is! SPARTA. . .n Cheerlading." But, two reasons I didn't. That joke has been overdone and I hated that movie. 300 fewer brutish, infanticidal, insufferable alpha male jackoffs in the world? I'm okay with that.
But anyway, take a look my friends, because by creating this, I have risked incurring the wrath of a sizable number of my friends, family, and acquaintances. I'm not so worked up about it myself, I like State, but if Michigan does well on a Saturday, well, good for them. Until the Michigan-Michigan State game, then they can kindly fuck right off!
I actually like pro football way better, but I wanted do something with cheerleaders and I hate how NFL cheerleaders dress. They look like they'd be more at home dancing on a pole. There's nothing wrong with overtly sexual and skimpy in and of itself, but I just think it applies poorly to cheerleaders. In my opinion, the whole appeal from cheerleaders comes from this cute, coquettish, girl-next-door kind of thing. The whole dudebro spank fodder look just ruins it. To hell with that. College cheerleading won out!
Even then, I had to take a few artistic licenses. I like to do this kind of thing authentically, but when I went to see what Michigan State's cheerleading uniforms looked like, I realized they had more goddamn uniforms than the football players! So, I just kinda cherry-picked different elements from what I saw and made something I liked. I also gave them pleated skirts, even though the real MSU cheerleadering skirts don't have them. . . *sigh* this fucking country, man. . .
But, whatever! I altered it a bit to get the look I wanted. I also added bit of fall scenery to the front of Spartan Stadium there. In reality, they'd be standing right in the middle of the street to be in from of the stadium from that angle. But, that's not very picturesque.
Anyway, it was a lot of fun to make, even though it took awhile. I should note that by making 50% of my girls non-white, I do believe I have the single most ethnically diverse cheerleading squad in the world of both collegiate and professional athletics. But, shit, I accomplished that feat by only having the ONE blonde.

At the risk of sounding perverted, leotard/bikini cut bottoms would be preferable to the bloomers they wear. But just for college and onward cheerleaders.
